How did we deliver on such a wide-ranging brief for Colgate? By harnessing our versatility…
Having worked with Colgate Palmolive, in partnership with Sublime Presentations, for many years, our collaborative history reflects content for their internal communications, events and presentations teams. We were therefore delighted to create a fresh range of digital content for their Colgate Total Campaign.
And we relished the opportunity as it enabled us to dip into all of our service platforms. Having filmed content at some renowned London spots, added polish and finesse through editing and motion graphics, we then used our in-house photo studio and retouching capabilities to bookend the creative process.
Loftworks have some of the best camera operators, editors & motion graphic artists around in the UK. They always go that extra mile and I know I can trust them to manage a project with my clients and it will all be completed to the highest standard.
Having rounded-up our trusted director, director of photography (DoP) and extended crew, found a talented actor and a quiet north London studio... we got to work. The deadline implied a tight schedule though with meticulous planning we achieved everything required, and the results were well-received by Colgate.
Following a smooth shoot, including a slightly experimental approach to many of our takes and indeed, delivery methods, we were soon back in the studio editing the start of what became the final TV Commercial.
And we were delighted on hearing that it scored extremely highly in the testing phase.
Without the Loftworks team my business would not have been as successful over the past few years, thanks largely to the work they have produced.
The next phase took us up the Shard and high above the capital to work with Davina McCall. With the team, we filmed a full-on aerobic workout for an audience of social media influencers, followed by a Q&A with McCall herself and some dental specialists.
Making a quick switch of location to Waterloo’s iconic IMAX cinema, we captured footage of the out-of-home (OOH) advertising in full 360° glory. This was followed by filming a multitude of digital content; on screens throughout Waterloo station and in shopping centres in the heart of the city.
With the public at the centre of things we enjoyed using a special Augmented Reality pop-up, in the heart of the UK’s busiest train station to capture true innovation in action.
Loftworks are a critical part to much of the work I deliver at Sublime Presentations. Thankfully, with them on the team I can rest assured that the work is delivered to a high quality — on time, every time.
We then adorned our photography hat and made full use of our in-house studio, which is always primed for intimate portrait shots. Working with our trusted make-up artist and stylist we explored lighting and costume combinations to capture our Finnish model. The white background offered versatility as it could be easily removed for different formats, if required; such as print, packaging and digital.
